A child’s first visit is an opportunity to become comfortable with our office, meet the team, and begin building healthy dental habits.
What to Bring
Please bring your photo identification, insurance information, completed forms if available, a current medication list, and any information about your child’s health history or previous dental care.
What to Expect
The visit may include a review of your child’s health history, an age-appropriate examination, preventive care when appropriate, and a conversation about your questions and recommended next steps.
Helping Your Child Prepare
Use simple, positive language and let your child know the dental team will count and care for their teeth. Avoid promising that nothing will feel uncomfortable; instead, reassure your child that you and the team will support them throughout the visit.
